Tdel Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 For those of you who knew Brian and visited his tackle shop or used his guiding service and haven't heard, Brian Berriault passed away on June 12 2012. There were a few posts on here in the past asking about Brian and the closing of Backwater Tackle. Tom.

We went musky fishing to Midland harbour 7 or 8 years ago and seeing as we'd never fished there before we stopped into Backwater to ask a few questions. Not only did Brian give us some advice, he even loaned us one of his good laminated maps and marked some good spots on it for us. He said to just leave it outside when we got back as he'd be gone home by then. Not alot of guys would help strangers like that.
grimsbylander Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 Bryan Berriaut Sr. passed away June 12. That is the father of Bryan from Backwater tackle. He was 68 years old.
