Billy Bob Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 Circuit breakers at the battery connection works well CORRECT........everyone kept mentioning a "FUSE" but a TM should have a circuit breaker at the positive end of the battery....for that size TM I would think a 40amp circuit breaker like this one would be correct... http://www.cabelas.com/auto-boat-battery-accessories-manual-reset-circuit-breaker-1.shtml?WT.tsrc=CSE&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=00006830&rid=40&mr:trackingCode=6B5284C8-958E-DF11-A0C8-002219318F67&mr:referralID=NA&mr:adType=pla&mr:ad=5855238984&mr:keyword={keyword}
grimsbylander Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 That's right....I said fused but was referring to the circuit breaker. There are tons of people running trolling motors on small boats without them.
