ITunes on Smart tv?

just wondering if anyone knows if/how i can watch my itunes movies on my samsung smart tv...

 

can i connect my iphone with movies on it through the usb port on my tv and watch itunes movies...?

 

im just looking to get the most out of the technology i have...

Don't know if that will work or not.

Might have to copy to a USB stick and play from there.

 

I can play from an external hard drive connected to my tv but usually I just plug a usb stick into my surround sound receiver and play from there.

But how do you get it from iTunes to a format on a USB that will play on the tv?

Got to your iTunes folder on your computer and copy/paste the file to a usb stick.

If it is in a format your tv doesn't have a codec for just use a converter like AVC to convert it to one it can play like MPEG, WMI, AVI.

 

iTunes data is located in the iTunes folder in your music folder/library.
