I have some relatives coming from France -senior is avid angler in europe.

they may stay at Little's cottages on stony lake

any ideas on where to fish generaly in that area?

yes \they are now staying in lakefield..

any place around there to rent boats

Not sure about boat rentals. Getting pretty late in the season.

 

|Could try Viamede or some other resort to see if they are still renting.

Stony in the Kawarthas?

 

 

Stoney Lake (also spelled Stony Lake) is a lake inOntario, Canada. There are three interconnected lakes (Upper Stoney Lake to the northeast, Stony Lake in the centre, and Clear Lake to the southwest). Stoney Lake forms the eastern end of the Kawartha lakes region. It is primarily a summer cottage area but there are many permanent residences especially on Clear Lake.
