hello all I have some relatives coming from France -senior is avid angler in europe. they may stay at Little's cottages on stony lake any ideas on where to fish generaly in that area? all fish -photo-release thanks for anyassistance!

jamie-just to be on safe side> if you check in a rod holder tube make sure you stick an ID sticker on side of tube/the regular string one sometimes get torn off. also good idea to put a sticker with the flt no and hotel name /address in cuba on side/ also good idea put ID tags on 2 different places on bags in case handle breaks along with baggage tag . (if you have ID on bags they can always match your name and flt no..) Have a good flt!

hey wayne those photos are incredible/my first overview of this area/gloucester pool seems smaller than I envisioned/may have to tackle big chute and get down to severn river foe some additional bass fishing / I hear its quite scenic trip with lesscottages on the severn.. by the way is that an aeronca champ you fly(or may be pipercub) skis or wheels ? I got my ppl licence in piper colt at mt hope a/p years ago. looked like a great CAVU day for flying!!! thanks again

try Selloff Vacations .com/they are usually pretty good. I just got back from cancun/while there took ferry over to Isle mujeres / a local diving company took me out for 5 hrs barracuda fishing for 150 USD/ caught several barraucda 25-30lbs each they were like giant pike!!/the crew kept all the fish( I would have been happy to let them go but food was big concern to them plus they make money selling fish to local restaurants-later they gave me barruccuda fish fillets which my hotel cooked up me./great experience

thanks for info on no access to 6 mile lake/ not sure if my insurance co will be very understanding if I try the big jump but it would make a great accident report.. glad to hear there is good fishing/plan to go Fishing Depot nr the toronto airport and p/u maps of area,apparently Adventure Maps who produce maps check fishing spots out annually and info is fairly current.. rgds, flyer ps. thanks for welcoming to the to the board-hopefully I can contribute

hi chris no info on west nippissing but I 've stayed at sunset cove resort nr callandar on the east side of lake and they have nice Legend 16 ft with 50hpmerc so you don;t have to worry about pull start. good bass and pike in area / also wall eye if you no where to go. I have bit of back problem too,so I know how careful you have to be!! good luck.. flyer

hello sorry about no intro/ not aware of that/thanks for heads up. basically i;m passionate about fishing and the the outdoors and will base boat at port severn .. yes / I bought boat at fishing show /got great deal but of course had to upgrade as 50hp was not really adequate..seems like a great set up/ I'm primarily fish and release and photo .. I thought on looking on older charts that there were few shallow entries to 6 mile lakefrom gloucester pool but may be oudated. hopefully there are still some nice bass in these lakes thanks for all responses . flyer

hello all just got a new Legend 18 extreme/90hp merc.(my first boat!) will be based at marina nr lock 45 port severn. can anybody comment on how good fishing is on Gloucester pool andSix mile lake( which I believe I can access from gloucester pool) ?? thanks for any info
