Curious about a rumour someone told me he heard?

Last night a good fishing friend mentioned he had been told a rumour about a 2 cycle motors being restricted to specified waters only (who knows what those might be).

I'd never heard of any discussion regarding this and wondered if anyone else has.

Any truth to this or just a nasty election time rumour spun out of one of the parties war rooms?

well if you are in California, it's true

 

there was talk of it before new 2 strokes became far more eco friendly

 

and many are as or more friendly then 4 strokes

 

but who knows if the tree hugging P3TA type groups pushes some uneducated person in the gov. just might try it
