rbaquial Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 Hi Folks, I'm heading to Port Maitland tomorrow - was just curious on what type of fish can be caught there this time of year? what baits work best? I know from last time, people were catching A LOT of DRUMS... Any other species found in the area? Any input will be greatly appreciated! Thanks All! A2F (Rob)
DundasSteelheader Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 what bucktail said, lots of drum, the occasional white bass and lots of smallies off the opposite side.
bigugli Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 Cats and carp, the odd bowfin, pike, perch....

Fish Farmer Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 I talked to a few guys that cast at night around 1&2 am for Walleye. I went one night, but the waves were busting over the pier, so much for that. Take a lantern. My thought on that time, my head likes the pillow.
