BillM Posted June 27, 2011 Report Posted June 27, 2011 You really gotta be careful when you are fishing resident trout in the summer. When the water gets around the 70 degree mark, the mortality rate of the fish sky rockets. They might swim away, but the odds are they are belly up soon after.

The season for headwater residents is practically closed due to high temperatures leading to mortality of said fish. As if anyone would post location of an obviously small delicate fishing spot on the web anyways. Edited June 27, 2011 by ehg
