bow slayer Posted June 11, 2011 Report Share Posted June 11, 2011 I have been researching into buying a new dslr camera mainly for wildlife photos. I have narrowed the choice down either a Nikon or Canon just not sure which models would best suit me. I am not looking to spend a ton a money but would be comfortable to spend in the 700 dollar range. I have recently just missed out on a couple lightly used deals for around that price. A couple I have looking at are the Canon XSI and XTI with the standard 18-55 lense and 70-300 additional lense. Are these good starter cameras? Will these lenses allow for zooming in on wildlife from a distance? Are the new T2I or T3I better cameras? Any suggestions would be well welcomed?
