Very interesting to see them as they grow! Good work Richard. Will they be ok through the holidays? - some schools turn down the heat and kill the power over the holidays - or at least they used to.

The custodians are in for the 1st week & are willing to help, I'll be filling in on the weekends & the 2nd week of the break, the eggs aren't all absorbed yet but I think we'll be feeding by Sunday or Monday, they are trying to swim off the bottom & I guess that's when you start feeding

I can only dream of getting this in my classroom! There doesn't seem to be any cooperative stocking program with any GTA school boards.

Every time I watch the salmon migrate upstream, I think "Wow what a perfect example of life cycle's curriculum".

Keep up the great work

Metro East anglers has supplied fish to in class hatcheries in the past. So there has been some activity in GTA schools.

Where in the GTA are you? I know that Jerry Ouellette from Oshawa is very active in involving children in fisheries projects.

You may also want to consider a school trip to Ringwood. It is slated to close after this year; so this season is your last chance.
