I was going threw the radio stations in the car tonight and, lake belwood came up!

WARNING TO ALL,Blue/green algae in the lake.Signs are being posted for health reasons.

So for the folks that havent heard!Thats why Im posting it!

So, stay clear of it for the time being!

Fanshawe reservoir is a complete disaster right now. Not sure about Pittock and Wildwood.

I was at the bayfront by the discovery center,and saw quit a bit of really greenish algae around the shore line.Almost like the stuff they use in those neon worms.Throw the dirt into the water and the water instantly goes green.Freaked me out the first time,seeing it!

The cyanobacteria problem at Bayfront should get better with the wastewater treatment plant and sewer upgrades in Hamilton...then again people keep feeding whole loaves of wonderbread to the geese everytime I turn my head down there so...
