brifishrgy Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 (edited) Headed out to the grand last night in hopes of getting some perch and walleye, no perch to be had at the pier and the eyes werent to active either, water was pretty high and the winds this am didnt help matters out of the 5 fish I caught 2 were upgrades for Team 7 managed a 31" channel cat while trolling, it was the ugliest catfish I have ever caught, it really sucks to find out you left your pliers behind when you have to pry the mouth of one of these guys open to get your lure back also got a nice eye while trolling, I thought I had another cat the way it was tugging while I was trolling along I noticed something swimming in the water, when I got closer I could tell it was a deer, must of needed some tackle since it was headed straight for the bait shop going out again next Sunday for fathers day, hopefully the eyes are a little more cooperative to keep my son occupied Edited June 12, 2010 by brifishrgy
Sandbag Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 Nice Job Brifishrgy...The perch should be there once the mouth of the river clears up a bit. Hopefully in the next few days if the rain would lay off. Cheers Craig
