Canal lake info needed

hey guys im heading up to canal lake and was wondering if you guys could tell me where to go on the lake. not asking for hot spots just a general area.

Haven't fished it myself, but we used to hold a tournament on there a few years ago and the verdict was that while the fishing was good the lake was also a real prop buster, so take it gently.
