ice fishing mid feb

i m looking to go icefishing mid feb for a day or two where should we go there will be about 6 of us ?

 

i would like to try the kawarthas if anyone knows an outfitter that started up there that would be great ,thanks shawn

Head to lake Simcoe or Bay of Quinte. Do a search for "Simcoe (or Qunite) ice hut rentals" Both big bodies of water with lots of hut operators & lots of fish. Quinte would be mainly for Walleye & Simcoe would be mainly Lake Trout & White fish (or Perch).

i go to simcoe all the time and the hut guys are ok but 15 trips over the last 3 years and poor results, always should have been there yeasterday lol, thats why i want to try somewhere else ,thanks shawn

If you're looking at Kawarthas, I've heard really good things about Kashabog lodge...

That's more like Haliburton rather than the Kawarthas.

 

I believe that there are one or two operators out of Bewdley on Rice and Cliff mentioned something about Lunge Haven on Sturgeon.
