BY FAR THE WORST DAY OF STEELHEADING I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.

WAS ON WATER AT 6AM TILL 4:30PM.

4 TRIBS ALL DAY TO MYSELF. NOT ANOTHER SOUL OUT.

THINK THE FISH HAVE FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT AND HAVE GONE SOUTH TO FLORIDA LOL

CONS WERE STELLAR HAD TO DEAL WITH SLUSH AND WIND BUT SHOULD OF BEEN A HAYDAY FOR ME.

MY FLOAT NEVER EVEN CAME CLOSE ONCE ALL DAY TO GOIN DOWN.

COULDNT BELIEVE IT. STILL CANT.

OH WELL TRY AGAIN SUN AND CLEAN BASS REELS TILL THEM LOL

I'm not too surprised though. The water temp dropped so far so fast I think it shocked them.

Sorry to hear Copper! Beats being stuck inside though.... and I'm sure Mike is on to something, my back-yard pond was wide open yesterday morning and this morning the dog and I were walking on it!

Don't feel bad. Meegs put up with a river FULL of slush and put a few through it. I'm glad I didnt go. Monday and Tuesday look good though.

Good on you for getting out there. Looking at the wind howling from my window this morning, I really didn’t have any major desire to hit up the rivers. I saw a squirrel get blown off my fence post by the wind and decided today might just not be the day . This fall has been a little strange. There’s a couple tribs I’ve been hitting up on a regular basis and even under ideal, prime conditions they failed to produce any real numbers of fish (at least compared to what I used to regularly experience in the past). Hopefully the rivers will cough up a few more gems before freeze up
