Hooked Posted November 17, 2009 Report Share Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) My son and I took a drive to Welland recently and I seen some cars parked on the side of the road. It was by a bridge, on Hwy 406, just north of Welland. I decided to stop and check it out. I did see one guy fishing, by the train tracks, but he didn't have much luck. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience fishing any stretches of the Welland River? Is it any good, what kind of fish can be expected?
