irishfield Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Email from Jim! So if you depend on Jim for winter supplies, you'll have to shop short of town at Gramps I guess. Kim and I have had our meeting with our advisor and with the lack of sales these past two summers as well as the decline in winter sales we have made up our minds to close for this winter. We are going to be here for another couple of weeks then head North for our caribou hunt, then re-open again for a few more weeks trying to move more product. The sale we are having now is 50% off of all fishing tackle and equipment, 40% off of all clothing (including floater jackets and pants) firearms are marked down 20% camping 30% and all other hunting is 30%.
TJQ Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Ill be dropping in on our way to camp next time!

danbouck Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Too bad about the lack of sales. When i was up 2 years ago for 2 weeks the place was great. Very friendly and they gave me a ton of info about the lake. I spent a lot of $$$ there.

Moosebunk Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Nice fella. Economy probably kicked that town in the head this past summer. His business would be first to suffer the ache.
