Paully Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 I was chucking spoons at bluffers park... seen the whole thing from start to finish. The night turned onto day for about 5 seconds. Real cool to see.
dave524 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Thanks, I heard about it briefly on the news but never followed it up. Surprised to see that I live on the edge of the impact zone. Never saw a thing.
JoshS Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Damn and i thought I was seeing things! Thanks for posting and clearing things up. I happened to catch a brief glimpse of it as I was moving and carrying a huge box. Wasn't sure if what I saw was real or i was tripping out from over exertion lol. I remember seeing a fireball shoot across the sky for about two seconds and burn out. Really cool to see!!
frozen-fire Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 saw something similar on scugog about two months ago. It was like daytime for about 3 seconds...awesome.
dave524 Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) See on the news today that some one had a golfball chunk go through the window of their SUV and another suspected piece has been found, this one is a biggie about 17 inches by 18 inches, ouch! that would leave a mark.
