boat launches on Stony Lake

me and a buddy are heading to Stony this coming Sunday. it will be the first time fishing the lake for both of us. we need some direction to a decent launch, preferably a public launch that is free. there must be parking available also, as we are planning on staying there overnight (sleeping in the truck until first light).

There is a nice launch next to Pine Vista Resort. It's on Gilchrist road that runs off of county road 6. It leas into Gilchrist Bay......parking is extra there.

 

It's on the south side of the lake just about mid lake.....

The launch at Viamedes is public & free. Parking can be a challenge, especially on a weekend.
