Caught my first ever Catfish tonight!

Hey everyone, just got back from catfish fishing 15 mins ago was pretty slow only two in 3 hours but it was my first one ever. here are a couple pics for everyone.

Put up a crazy fight for a small fish, the one was hooked badly hence the bleeding.

Catfish are greta fighters, I've only caught little mudcat, but they are strong. I'd like to catch a big one soon.

If you'll use a 3/0 circle hook for those cats you won't have a problem with deep hooking, 95% of them will be hooked in the corner of the mouth.

I agree with GCD on the circle hooks.. corner hooked fish and usually hook themselves!
