lookin for a marine stereo

just a cheap marine radio with a couple speakers,does not have to have CD player but that would be nice just am/fm, either new or used I don't want to spend a whole lot. I have seen a few for around 250-350 price but I don't want to spend that much.. I want to install on the boat before July holidays. So if you know of one for a descent price or have one your looking to get rid of let me know please.

what makes a marine stereo a "marine stereo" ?

my buddy has an old deck out of his car in his boat and has used it for the last few years without any real problems

its in a console and relatively shielded from the elements, but has been subjected to some rain/spray. I assume if you mount it in an out of the way spot any deck should be alright, or am i wrong...they're THAT different than regular head units.

it has to do more with the speakers than the actual radio.

Canadian tire had some on clearance , regular around 199, on for 79.

give them a call , comes with the hole system i believe. speakers , and deck etc.!
