rhare Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 For the last few days we have been spending the evenings searching for cats. I love targeting cats when I can, they are pure muscle! The first evening was wet and windy but we managed a couple well over the 15# mark. The following evening was the same with 2 big cats around 18# and 20#. The kicker was a hugh 15lbs pike that hit my buddies cutbait. Came in like a log!!! but what a pig. Dead batteries that day but he has a cell phone shot I'll see if I can get it. Today with the wind we fished the afternoon for a couple hours and still did well with a 18# and 14# and some small pike to boot. fun way to burn a couple hours!!! tightlines Ryan Hefty male channel Hungry male Channel A cutbait drum Dan with a good one

johnnyb Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 Wow...off GBay....I had no idea! Awesome cats...I got the bug after pulling a couple in on the Grand this year...if I knew those were still around up wherever you were, I'd be all over it! How late in the year do they typically go up that way?
