Ahmic Lake Resort - any info?

Hi there, looking to book 2 nights cottage rental at Ahmic Lake Resort for the wife and I to relax. Won't be fishing, just hanging out. Does anyone have any info? Been there and liked/disliked it? Thanks.

I know, I know. I work full-time and my wife and I have a home based business that occupies every second that our 22 month old son and 7 week old son doesn't. Promised her we would just hang around the cottage. May throw a line in from shore, but no real fishing.

 

I booked myself a trip to Rice lake for Bass opener for 3 days...no wife, no kids.....ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

I've been to the campground there many a time, and my buddy has a trailer on the property as well. It's a beautiful area. Also, cast from shore if you can, there are some nice pike to be had and a ton of bass if you'll be there after opener. Nice crappie right in the harbour there too

yeah i stay there on occasion as well. It has decent fishing. The food is great if you decide to eat at the resturant. Great fish!

 

The lake is nice and the people there are very decent.
