Jet Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) Hi guys, I'm thinking about going out to Zone 15, specifically Big Cedar Lake (north of Peterborough, just south of Bancroft) and wondering if anyone here can provide feedback on the ice conditions for Lakes in that area and how thick it is. It will be my first trip up there for ice fishing. I'm taking some new fisherpeople and want to see if anyone can help me out before I make the long drive up there. Thanks in advance. Jer Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 What are you fishing for? I've fished the lake a few times in the summer and never seen anything other than bass & muskie.
Jet Posted March 4, 2009 Author Report Posted March 4, 2009 Loads of ice! That's good news. You think it will be ok for Saturday with the mild weather. I'm thinking yes, since I've gone on Simcoe after two days of unseasonably warm weather.
