Going to London this weekend, looking to fish

Hello everyone,

I am new to the board and would like to say hello. I live in Ottawa, but will be in London this weekend. I would like to do some fishing on saturday. Since I have not lived here since I was a kid, I don't know where to go. Is the fishing still good down there? Any suggestions would be great!! Thanks

Best bet would be the Thames. Try out in Delaware,the bridge by the speedway. There should be some walleyes around and maybe a few chinook by now.. The dam below Fanshawe has a mixed bag. I have caught several pike there with a minnow under a float.

I was going to say Fanshawe dam as well. Seen some reports from there lately and there seem to be healthy population of walleye around and white bass as well.

fanshawe lake has some pickerel and a few smallies even off the boat launch area
