Fuel efficient tow vehicle

My first though when I saw the video was what happens when you have to stop? According to the comments, that has been worked out.

Cool but I wonder how it would do pulling a boat up and out of the water? Not easily going to do that I would think. Give it some time and maybe they will figure something out. Would be great for clearing up accidents on the highways in a hurry.

I remember seeing an article about these a couple years ago...apparently they use them on the highways in Japan for EXACTLY that reason, fishnsled.

So what is the purpose of this thing exactly? to tow a car around? that thing would be totaly useless with a boat, at any size. even a jet ski.
