MuddyWater Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 went out chucking some dry flys for some browns but the water was high and coloured from the rains we have been having. i put on a big egg suckin leech and WAM nailed a nice rainbow with some wicked jumps she was very skinny and tired out quick in the warm water. the next pool BAM this nice big butterscotch brown!! i think i can keep catching rainbows until they start running again in the fall with the way this year has been! peace.
modny Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 that rainbow is missing like half its tail i wish i knew of some cool streams to fish for trib trout near hamilton
highdrifter Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 Very noice! Summer steel... and still in the river! Must be reluctant to fall back with that injured tail. Cool find man and nice brown! cheers HD
MuddyWater Posted July 3, 2008 Author Report Posted July 3, 2008 that bow was dam unhappy when i hooked her you would think that half a tail wouldnt let it fight so well but 4-5 foot jumps all over the place shheeeesh. imagine if it had a full tail!!!
