They do make a tool for the bigger stuff but I suspect your stripping smaller wire like #12 or #10 If your doing smaller solid wire you can take a regular wire stripper and pull the insulation off in one foot sections. Slyatv Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 A Pair of gloves ... important a sharp Knife locked in a vise ...Useful .... 1.50 more a pound ...Worth it ! The Price of Copper is HIGH right now ! .. Using the Vise allows for a Smoother 'rip' thru the insulation and can include you first pass on one side of the wire ..
