Carp fishing for now

First timed aimed for Carp and got hooked. Landed 6 and lost 4-5 more, most over 5+ lb.

 

I have yet to catch my trout this year. In the mean time, I have decided to aimed for carp, and I am hooked.

 

I landed 6 out of 10 fish on monday. The largest being 10lb+. We were using corn the whole time. I can get used to this if it was not difficult in the past. We were all using hair rig and corn.

The other OFC buddy sharper caught a 25+lb carp. Here is the catch

The fish are not fighting hard yet, just heavy due to its weight, water was still very cold everywhere.

Fun trying to land a big carp over the handrails there eh?

P.S. Rumour has it at night there's a few big cats that come into that spot.
