kids fishing day in Barrie?

Does anyone know if they are doing the Kids fishing day again in Barrie this year? Thanks.

I thought that it was the Rotary Club that was involved, but I couldn't find any info on their web site. There's a bit of time though, because I think it's done on the family fishing weekend in July.

If Im not mistaken,Tim Hortons runs the event with the support of other charity groups in the city.

thank you both. I tried to find anything with dates for this year so I can take my kids but only found the 06 and 07 stuff. if anyone finds the dates please let me know, thanks!

Yes there is another 'kids fishing day' this year. It happens on Sunday June 15th at the same location. Hope to see you there.

The date was June 24th. Bass was open on Simcoe. If it is June 15th bass won't be open (4th Saturday in June). Tim Horton's and the Rotary club were the title sponsors.

 

FYI Family fishing weekends are: July 4-6 2008, February 14-16 2009, July 10-12 2009.

 

This doesn't clear anything up I realize, but I'll keep my eyes and ears open.
