I checked the regulations on the internet two weeks ago as to when pike and walleye seasons open and i could have sworn it said first saturday in may but i checked today and it says second saturday in may. So which one is it? Thanks in Advance

This makes perfect sense. The water is colder in G Bay, the fish spawn a little later, so lets open the season earlier so we can make sure and catch all of them on their spawning beds.

 

Geese, I wish the Gov. would pull their heads out of their A S S ' E S sometimes.

I didn't think the fish were interested in anything during the actual spawn?

 

I'll be hitting GBay on the 1st for some shallow water monsters (hopefully), always catch and release, especially Mr Pike.
