fatherof3 Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 Each of the last 3 days I have gone out into the forest and fields, wading through snow dirfts and high winds trying to get some pics of deer.I had seen one but was not close enough and by the time I was he was gone.Last night I found them but by then it was getting too dark to get a good shot so this morning after opening gifts I went back to the same area. This time I followed tracks, saw where they had laid down and done their business but still no deer.Time was running out and as I came over a ridge this is what I saw. Finally I caught up to them. They were not very photogenic though. When they saw me they ran but not this one. I sat and watched this one for a good 20 minutes before leaving.
shane Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 Another poser! How come I never get animals to pose for me? Nice shots.
Ramble Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 Excellent shots. Deer are less then cooperative subjects, you did well to get as close as you did. nice job
