Camera angle and fish pics

I never realized how much different fish can look depending on the pic is taken. Here are two pics from this past sunday of the same fish. One with me holding it and one with my friend holding it. Big difference. I always take one pic holding the fish close to my body and a second pic to make it look huge, that way I know how big it was...but i can still make my dad think I keep catching hogs
