  1. Way to go Clive! All the best to you, Ash and Gillian! In a couple years we'll have to get the boys out fishing!
  2. I suggest putting a special tax on all white buckets with proceeds to aid in the education and rehabilitation of fishy fish.
  3. Outstanding. Where did you live before? I was happy to move out of the city but do miss some conveniences.
  4. I spent half a year in India. It's insane. Hollywood seems sooo tiny when you see the volume of movies that they pump out. The Hindi word for cheese is paneer
  5. I use 30lb. for pike with the 80lb. floro leader. I've noticed that I tend to get nicks on the line from bites, rocks, docks, hooks etc. So at least I feel confident that the damaged line will still be in the 10-20lb. range in case I catch a monster or a little extra lifting is involved. I am frugal, O.k. cheap and I know that the 30lb. may not cast as far but it will be on my reel longer. Again, nice bass dude!
  6. Glad you got out! Great catch. Now go to the hospital!
  7. Simply awesome. Another report which makes me anticipate fishing with my son. Thanks!
  8. What pound line are you using? Dougs got the knots. I'm so lazy that I use uni for everything. Bring nail clippers and tie directly to your leader. I would recommend an 80lb. floro leader for pike which will work for Salmon too. Now you'll use braid 80% of the time. Good luck!
  9. Thanks Rick!
  10. Sorry, I searched the site for any info but couldn't find anything. How do I do it? Do I need to compress the files? Is there a program I need? This is for video off my camera. Thanks! S
  11. Are you able to reduce the glare on the original picture? I'm sure that if you did the patterns on the chain pickerel will be even clearer. Congrats again!
  12. Wow! That's amazing. Congrats on the record fish! P.s. looks like you've lost some weight??
  13. Awesome Johnny!
  14. Talk to Jay or Chris at the Paddle Shack in Muskoka. They sell Holy Cow's. They are having a Fall sale RIGHT NOW! Tell them Grant referred you and they should give you a great deal! (We just did a show together in Gravenhurst) Good luck!
  15. Love to buddy, But I have to sleep.
  16. You are one good lookin' lubricated fishin' machine!
  17. O.k. There was this secret society of urban fisher folk. Too many to mention. (Some members like Patrick, Mike the pike, CCMT have heard of them) There were these pike who, Dressed in something weird. The fisher folk called them "feed bags". Anyways, The story is that these pike would adorn themselves in these large, flambouyant (sp.) "feed bags" in the fall and parade around the Toronto waters. They loved puttin' on the feed bags. (they're so vein) Now, Being "urban" pike, They liked to accessorize themselves with bling. They would go for bright spoons dropped in a stylin' fashion. It's curious, Some pike called for raps Some called for a spinner Just don't call them late for dinner Like Raf and Grant said, and it's good to remember, Pike spring for the shallows but Fall down deep in September If you fish in the mountains, you may catch a goat If you fish in Toronto, you may want a boat Hope that helped Hope to see you out there!
