Probably my last Fishing Report for a while - full of fishin' pics
snag replied to 007's topic in General Discussion
I look forward to posts from across the pond. We don't get enough international posts (except for the annoying gigantic pike pic from Europe) Have a good trip! -
My wife kept them on most of the seats at home (instead of moving one from room to room) and I have to admit that I've grown accustomed to them. They have little handle on them to carry them easily (they only weigh about a pound) My mom put a soft cover on hers for aesthetics and comfort.

What happens at Merlands, Stays at Merlands............

Sorry guys, Don't know why I didn't mention this before. This seat cushion on sale is a must for you. Here is the link: CANTIRE FLYER This product helped my wife IMMENSELY!!! She has suffered from scoliosis for years. I've bought some for family members too. It’s cheap and actually comfortable even if your back doesn’t hurt. It’s portable too. Carol takes it everywhere. (in the car, restaurants, movies. uh...anywhere you sit?) We bought a couple and kept them at our parents houses too. Basically, your tail bone sits in the semi-circular cut-out and this relieves some of the pressure on the nasty lumbers/lumbars. Simple but effective. BUY ONE!!! THEY ARE ON SALE!!!!! $15 cdn tire (Thanks Cliff, LOL) Ciao!

Has anyone been fishing the shoreline and marinas in Barrie?

Don't count on pike. Have fun and hit the town. Cheers! -
Hmmmmmmmmmmm, People often confuse us............ Ric likes baggie jeans and a suggestive tank-top. He's also right handed.
-
You've got my respect. Well put.

Did you hear about the latest Bear Mauling?

That's disgusting. Delete this thread Sicko -
Exports, I presume?
-
I still don't get it? How do you do that. Are there any diagrams?
-
Maybe it was just napping with it's legs in the air?
-
Now that's being organized! I've got 2 out of 3 of those items just to get freaky in a pinch.
-
Sweet! I caught a night pike on a jitterbug one time. Bizarre.
-
I use MH 7' for both baitcast and spinning. You will need to go deep and your gear needs strength for weeds, lure weight, distance and hauling a largish fish in an obtuse location. I also have some back-up rods 6' to 8' for specific applications. Tip: Leave your expensive rod at home if you are fishing below 0 degrees with a windchill. Good luck! S.

Word. Sounds good to me.

Okie Dokie then. Suuuuuure tresspassing with a baby, What's next? Assaulting Pokaroo?
-
Great report! It's hard enough to catch a fish this time of year solo, not to mention a baby on your chest! (Been there, you become very aware of hooks!) Your daughter really is a cutie. Thanks!

Hope tomorrow (today) is better. You've always been kind to me and unconditionally supportive in the board. You deserve more than a smile. Thanks, Grant -
Toronto pike shared/solo and The ugly truth about CCMT

It's a long story. He admitted to me that he was "hyper modest" when you guys were out. It's our own fault for wanting a "positive" reaction. The android thing is priceless!!! If posty points were dollars he'd be a millionaire! Wear protection me neither Whatever Chuckie gets luckie -
Greetings, I'll spare Bly the "Cliff is such a great guy" post. He is. Uh, sorry Carole but he put up with my coffee induced psychotic ramblings for 5-6hrs. However, I saw a dark side. There was a dead bloated pike washed up on the rocks. Cliff jumps down and: Cliff sez with the slick, kitten eating, smile of a politition: "What happens in T.O. stays in T.O. Take a pic!" (it's just sickening, I'm sorry Carole. He's not the man you thought.....) Truth is, and I know those that have fished with Cliff will back me up; He's anti-climatic!!! Mr.Nonchalant Coooooooooooooooooooooooolll I am being the consummate host, I'm doing well but I want my guest to catch something and be EXCITED! When he finally caught this fish, it was like he had caught that fish 10000 times before. He's mumbles "Fish on" like a breakfast special at Zellers. Then he ORDERS; "Take an action pic of me for my photo journal" Whatever, kiljoy Here's your Cliffporn Cliffcateers, THAT'S HOT! This is funny though, Cliff was an hour late getting there and I was stuck behind this rockstar loogan for 30 min. (this was AFTER we pulled off the highway!) Here are some fish I hid from Cliff: (but he would have seen today if he didn't "work") I didn't blur here, my camera sucks. These (2 mega pix) pictures don't do this pike justice Lean view Wee Piggy (they're still eating) This was amazing, I felt honoured to share this awesome experience with Cliff. We wept as we witnessed such a grace of nature unfolding in an urban setting; Owl necro-feeding on pike corpse; (Cliff will validate that the owl figure was found on location with the Esox corpse) Gotta love urban fishing garbage. Cliff earned it. and I don't want any negative PM's He's gets the award for best current guest; The creepy shore wash doll: Cliff, Carole, anytime you want to go (during the week!) it will be my honour! Sweet dreams xooxoxox S.

Wow, I didn't think you could be hotter out of the cooler, babe! Is it me or does Mr.Eh look like Lews lovechild??

I have to say that I am impressed. I have been neglectfully ignorant of my coffee consumption. Such a daily beverage deserves some forethought. Quite an education here. Now if only I knew how to bookmark..................

Thanks anyways IF/Wayne, I know, everybody is preparing for BOQ. I'm so lonely

This was too last minute for the Hook-ups section. I will be doing a delivery in Lakefield tomorrow so I'll be right in the middle of things. I will: Have my own gear, Pay whatever Net your fish, Listen to you, Be very nice. I will be avialable roughly 11-5. (I know, odd hours but the morning is busy) We can be in phone contact and I can meet you if you are already on the water. Please PM me. Thanks all!

Thanks for all the great advice folks. Some real wisdom here. I will try all of the above. 10 yrs. ago T.J. I was in Costa and brought some coffee back for the inlaws. I was not as hooked on the stuff as I am now, but the taste lingers like a sweet sunrise at the base of Mt.Arenal. (We camped there and it blew at 4am and we all thought we were gonna die!) The worst coffee in a country visited was Guatemaula and Indonesia. Thanks again, BTW, I got skunked (Guess that Baileys should help...................)
