  2. I'm sure we are bud, just a little protective when it comes to putting pork on my fork......
  3. I guess where I was going with this was that yes, I avoid sugars and most of the other "bad guys", but for the sake of a small amount of nitrates or is it nitrites...... my weekly bacon fix will go on without too much concern. My grandparents on both sides ate their way through many a pig and many a cow in the course of a year and lived into their 90's. Of course they being country folk didn't eat the processed crap that some of us do today. So, I try to stay away from the processed crap and take my chances on the gene pool...just sayin'
  4. Glad to know that we have a good population of dietary nutritionists on board.. ...will keep your comments in mind, for a millisecond, when I enjoy my Saturday morning full English. And again when I enjoy my next roast leg of pork. The Brit's will never run out of bacon, they will default on their mortgage before they give up bacon sandwiches. BTW Joe, prosciutto rocks...carved thinly, by hand, off the leg....
  5. Glad you guys had a great time Rich. Hope I do as well in a couple of weeks.....
  6. Nice fish BigCreekDad...I will be up there in a couple of weekends..

  11. Sounds like a tough week Rich. Hope you do better next. Having said that the fishing is always great up there it's the catching that can be tough sometimes. Be safe......

  14. Hope that you and the girls have a great time. Will be up there in October so leave one or two big girls will ya, you seem to have them dialed in over the past couple of years.
  15. Personally I would just shout "Harold".....
  16. Used to stay at Keystone back prolly before you were born. Great times....
  17. No worries here, I'm tired of watching overpaid under-performers in 'most every professional sport. Much rather watch junior hockey and my grandson's Peewee team any day.......
  18. I am fortunate enough to have lived in Europe for 21 years so did well with big pike, carp, shark, cod, grayling and the odd trout and salmon Looking forward to some serious specks, west coast king and desk top halibut when i finally blow this pop stand for good.
  19. Have fun Bud...
  20. Have a great one Paul, hope she got you something really nice.........
  21. Like Craig I don't fish anywhere near as much as I did but still buy stuff that I don't need at places I like to stop in. I guess for me the personal touch and greeting says a lot and having someone with a little knowledge to lean on goes a long way.
  22. Okay?????
  23. Class act Mike, wouldn't expect anything less from Mike Parker!
  24. Grand Cherokee V8 don't even know the boat is there but gas mileage towing is brutal. Considering an F150 Ecoboost.
  25. I bought high end bungees too Dan. They make it easier to use for sure.
