  1. all the parts could be sourced from tacklewarehouse, plat, japan tackle the TDZ is an MG reel so anodizing won't be an option and I want a pearl effect milling knobs sounds interesting, if you can turn out some titanium knobs, I'll definitely be interested

  14. Just got the boat into the water with the new top gun cover The cover is just a work of art. No complaints at all. The shop that did the cover did an amazing job, details are all there. Reinforcement at proper places. Just nice. First time this boat is out on a Canadian lake. First fish caught was a double header OOS bass between me and my regular fishing buddy. Hopefully this is a sign of what's to come for bass season 2012. Caught two over slot walleye as well. With two people, gear, and 20 Gallons of gas, it runs nicely @ 30mph with light chop.
  15. given all the hooking and toothy critter incidents that have happened to me and other fisherman, I'm putting together a first aid kit for my boat and so far this is what I have Roll of Waterproof tape Sterile Gauze Pads x 5 Triangle bandage x 2 band aid x 10 Alcohol disinfectant wipes x 10 hook cutter x 1 what else would I need? any suggestions?

  17. take it apart and put some hot sauce grease on the gears.. the T3 came poorly lubricated.. me and my buddies all have this issue. Hot Sauce fixed it
  18. I have a girlfriend.. and she doesn't interfere with my hobby.. the day she does is the day I go back being a free man that's why I pay extra for tackle coverage w/ my boat insurance

  21. came a long way from 2011 (http://www.tackletour.net/TTForums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=42540) a lot of Shimanos got replaced by Daiwas.. gone are the Conquest, Core 101, Core 51, Curado 51E.. Zillion Type Rs and one of the Sols were gone too got some T3s and Pixies to replace them.
