  2. Troll really slow and use bottom bouncers with a worm harness.. You can also catch them trolling (again real slow) with smaller crankbaits (ccshad or small taildancer).
  3. Love the 4x10 cabinet.... Had one with a JCM800 head and man did it sound sweet.
  4. Thanks for adding some reason to the conversation....
  5. I'd much rather be tried in Canada than the U.S.A
  6. A lot of the low profile bait casters could also do what you are asking for. I do a lot of pike fishing with a curado 201e..
  7. Find a Calcutta or Daiwa Luna used... I actually just sold a Luna to a member on this board and I can tell you from experience it blows the Calcutta out of the water. You should be able to find the Luna's for a decent price as no one seems to know what a great reel they are. I would reccomend the Luna 253 for what you describe..
  8. Pretty soon the world will be flat again...
  9. Harper and the rest of his Young Earth Creationists need to go.... When your science minister will not publicly say he believes in evolution we have a problem. Soon we will be like the states where it is impossible to become a politician without religious affiliation. Next will come the war on drugs and making same sex marriages illegal.
  10. My favorite crank for bass is the Norman Deep Little N...... On a side note I have been using the Rapala DT Flat's this year and they work great for all species. Cabela's has them on right now for something like 3.99 a pop needless to say I ordered a whole bunch of them
  11. I agree with you guys that Taildancers in particular are great crankbaits, however, it looks as though he is looking more for a bass specific crankbait which has a different action that pisses off bass. Although Taildancers do catch bass you still can't beat the big fat cranks for them... On the flip side you are more likely to hook some Walleye and Pike with the other options.
  12. btw the handle on that baitcaster is on the wrong side
  13. I don't wear any.. and like the others who don't my hands have many scars to show
  14. I used the Strike King crankbaits last year and they worked really well for me (for largies). The hooks are definitely worth changing out as they suck and they do need tuning from time to time (all crankbaits do). I have since switched all my round crankbaits to Normans as I found them more durable and easier to tune thats not to say the Strike Kings were particularly bad. Good cheap alternatives are Normans (can't get them here), Bomber (bad hooks aswell) and Bandits. I have 2 Citica's and Curado aswell..... I like the Citica's fine but love my Curado. I think the main reason is the big ass grips which are awesome!!! outside of that there is not much of a performance difference.
  15. If you are interested in badgers I recommend you check this out http://www.badgerbadgerbadger.com/.
  16. Well I know that smoking the wacky reduces my productivity at anything...
  17. What do you need to get to allow a mr heater to use a 5lb tank? A hose for sure is there anything else?
  18. I think he meant to say cabela's
  19. Awesome.... This reel looks like a good deal and I have always wanted to try one out https://www.cabelas.ca/index.cfm?pageID=69&...on=&ID=8982 Someone grab it and let me know if t is worth it
  20. Cabelas.ca has some good deals on the go for reels right now. http://www.cabelas.ca/bargain_cave/?SrchSe...p;currentpage=3 Curado e7 $150 and a good price in the new Quantum Energy PT (5:1) aswell.. I just switched from right handed to left handed baitcasters.. if not I may have to pull the trigger on one or both of those .
  21. I am in the process of replacing all my right handed baitcast reels with left handed ones (so much better). I need to grab 3 baitcasters and as such cannot afford any premium ones. Between the Kinetic PT and Citica which would you choose? I like the Kinetic since it comes in a couple different speeds and has the externally adjustable braking system just not sure if they will last or not.
  22. Oh man... now prepare to be flamed ..... I am assuming this is an account made specifically for the purpose of trolling
