  1. Spent this morning on Rice. Bite was really good in the early morning. Got 7 and lost 2. Biggest was 19 inches. Wind pushed me away at 10 am.
  2. I have Tucson v6 AWD. This car is really good for towing and launching. Friend has Sorento and it's even better vehicle.
  3. I didn't have any issues to fish heavy current with MinnKota Terrova anchor on French river. Anchor was holding well. Lost one regular anchor because it stacked between stones. Never use regular anchor after that. Also during summer month than current is not so strong as is in spring I was drift fishing.
  4. Thanks for sharing. This is really cool tip.
  5. Thank you Emil, I do have CanaVac right now. Bought it 4 years ago from Vacmaster in markham. This place is awesome, custom service is the best. They helped me out couple time by replacing CAnaVac parts free of charge. Last month my power head gave up, so they fixed for $80. Closest vac place to me wanted to charge me 4150 for same work. I am looking for second opinion on those central vacs. For now I am still thinking to get with new model of Canavac.
  6. Thank you guys.
  7. I prefer to get it local with installation as well. What does it mean dual voltage or low? My old one seats in garage connected to regular power outlet I guess.
  8. Hi guys, I am moving to new house in the end of April and looking for new central vac. I used to have Cana-Vac, which is ok, but I would like to get any advices what might be better, quieter and best place to buy it from. I would really appreciate any help in this matter. thanks
  9. That's great. I knew couple people who had dollarama boards and they failed a part.
  10. Very reliable motor, friend of mine is using one for last couple years. Very happy with it.
  11. I bought mine in Fishing Depot on 401 last year - $20. Dollarama boards are good for couple years only.
  12. I had same issue with mine Humminbird until I find a small rubber plug to put between mount and transducer. I did help a lot. You can google Humminbird rubber plug to see how it looks.
  13. Fully agree with Gerritt. You have to upgrade your connection to faster one - 60 Mbps is not enough for all of your users.
  14. Emil, You must know some magic spell to get those whities. Nice pictures, let me know if there is a chance for me to join you in one day. It was nice to see you today.
  15. Almost 2 years ago while fishing Simcoe last day of trout and whitie season slipped on ice and broke 2 bones in my right leg. Was fishing along during work week, so I had to wait for an hour for first vehicle on ice to help me to get to the shore, was 2,5 km away from it. It was worst bumpy ride to the shore on tailgate of tundra truck. Funny part that I was already going to my car with my limit when this happened.
  16. Nice fish. You got them dialed in pretty well. Congrats.
  17. I bought 2 Duracell Deep Cycle group 27 batteries from total battery in Barrie. Its like $150 a piece. They even delivered to me for free. Used to use Walmart batteries, but had constant issues with them.
  18. Nicely done.
  19. Lake Joseph is closed for now. Season starts in February.
  20. Well said. Totally agree.
  21. Hi Colin. Fishing for whities and lakers without fishfinder is possible but in my opinion is a waste of time. To catch those fish you have to be on top of them and play them with electronics. You can still do it, but it will be hard and might be really disappointing for you. If you decided to go - grab Williams spoons and bad boys jigs. Work them slowly on the bottom pounding the bottom from time to time. Good luck.
  22. I am really happy with this unit. I am using it year around - from early spring to late fall in my boat, during winter in my ice pack. Unit is simple and easy to configure. GPS with Navionics is awesome. Strongly recommend it.
  23. Humminbird 597 for me. It nice to have GPS with navionics with you.
