  1. My handle looks fabulous bud. If anyone can guess which one is mine you win....a free Tim Hortons coffee (pick up in Hamilton only).
  2. Albert that would be lei'd. Hawaii would be a good place to accomplish Waynes suggestion though.
  3. Considering the circumstances I don't think what you did was horribly wrong. Connie was right though, you picked the wrong forum to complain in. Do as Bill said, go to court and talk to the crown, it'll be well worth your while.
  4. Oh wow, you're one lucky dude! Have fun and enjoy yourself bud.
  5. Back lakes in the middle of nowhere surrounded by crown land have no restrictions.
  6. The only restrictions would potentially be in parks.
  7. I know this is probably a stretch, but you never know. I priced out two bundles of Unilock Stack stone, one regular and one coping and just about had a heart attack LOL! Anyone on here have a source? You never know, I know there's a few landscapers. Thanks, Mike
  8. My boat's in storage 7 hours north of Hamilton. I'm guessing shore fishing would suck.
  9. Some impressive fish for sure. Considering I live so close it's ridiculous I've never fished for them. On a side note, just curious, do people keep those giant catfish?
  10. My exact words to my wife 9 months before my daughter was born.
  11. NOW THAT'S FUNNY! CAREFUL NOW, DON'T WANT TO ANNOY THE GEEKS!! SPEAKING OF GEEKS, THIS IS PRETTY FUNNY :
  12. What's with you guys? Seriously. No one is hating on Ron. The bottom line, it's a neat idea and the website is well laid out and easy to use. But at this point it's mostly useless. Exactly how does this have anything to do with Ron unless he helped create the site? It's perhaps a good starting point to build on. Time will tell if it evolves into something worthwhile.
  13. But Ron, what good is the info if it's wrong? Also regarding access, I can tell you that many of the lakes I looked at have no easy access. Just because there's innacurate info compiled on the lake doesn't equate into access.
  14. Neat site. I did a quick check on a bunch of remote areas I fish all over the province and found most of the info to be inaccurate. My advice to people who use this tool: It seems accurate for the more popular and accessable lakes. For remote backlakes it seems to be a total crapshoot. Sometimes correct but mostly wrong.
  15. A decent lake trout and smallmouth lake. The Oxtongue river flowing in has middling to good brook trout fishing upstream depending on where you look for them. Best part it's the gateway to Algonquin park. There's a lot of interesting day trips you can do within an easy drive. Great spot. Your sister and brother in law are very fortunate.
  16. I always wondered what somebody with 5 million dollars worth of fishing equipment did for a living.
  17. I had no idea you were gone. Glad to see you're still here though.
  18. Sure I'll stand around drinking low carb beer barking orders at you. Sounds like fun, let's make a date.
  19. Yeah, the damage done by the cinch bugs is usually circular. You'll have to eliminate the problem before you fix the damage.
  20. Ryan you think I have lots of time to fish? I'll be completely landscaping my front yard this spring. Replacing the sod, creating a huge bed with curved borders and all new planting, removing a maple tree and creating a new bed where it was with new planting, installing a decorative octagonal shaped window in the peak of the house, laying porcelain tile on my concrete porch, installing a railing around the porch. And lastly, this is not front yard, but planting several hundred cedars in my backyard to create a hedge. Wanna trade lists? Anyhow unlike my front lawn which is all weeds and must be rototilled, levelled with topsoil and new sod laid, yours doesn't look as bad. Personally I'd use seed. Scratch the surface where it'll be sown. Apply the seed liberally along with a good starter fertilizer then TOPDRESS with about an inch of quality topsoil. The topsoil helps the seed germinate and grow and protects it from birds that'll eat it. Water like crazy and you'll be amazed at the result. As far as the weeds in the driveway goes you can try and fill the cracks with tar and driveway sealer. Otherwise weedkiller and a weed whacker are your best friend.
