I have had a pair of simms Guide waders for years. No issues. No leaks.

Anyone know where I can find some lead ingots in KWaterloo Area. Anyone here have any they want to sell? Thanks Landry

I agree totally but they look nice

The plastisol is very stinky. Doin it in open garage with proper organic respirator. This stuff is nasty.

It's not that tough actually. I made the shape using plasticene, then poured it in one evening. Dried it for a week. Then coated it with thinned glue a few times on a Saturday. Poured the first baits that night. The weighted harnesses are the trickiest part. I am still tweaking that. Once I get the details all sorted out I may sell some. I need to test their durability this fall though they seem really tough I also may add airbrushing and a clear coat. I am treating it like a fun art project. They are already fish worthy. The other details are for me.

I made a couple more. I also made a couple masters for molding again in case my mold breaks. http://s1233.photobucket.com/user/landrysmith/media/Mobile%20Uploads/image_1.jpeg.html

It has weight inside. Eventually I am going to make a mold for the lead so if fits on the wire harness I made so there are two trebles on bottom and no top hook.

Thanks guys. I used to paint and do a lot of artsy stuff. I'm hooked bad in this. It's a different creative outlet. I will share more as I progress.

Ordered a cheap airbrush so I can paint eyes... CoLure paint from Lureworks is a water based paint that sticks to soft plastic. Also need to make my own internal harness and weight yet as this one just has a Waterwolf rig inside it. Next is a dawgdussa pattern:)

Gonna try to post a pic here. Hope it works. I made this from plasticene and then molded it with plaster of Paris. similar to shadzilla but a little bigger and solid plastic. Ran great in my pool??

Call this place in Hamilton. Crazy good deals on batteries. I bought two gel deep cycles with missing handles for half of what they cost everywhere else. 1 (905) 549-4454

IMO Best tasting fish: 1. Perch 2. Bluegills 3. Walleye 4. Crappies. First time we had gills I was amazed how good they were.

I beat ya there. Just kidding. I foolishly want the new 2000$ model.

I agree the prices are ridiculous now on all boat stuff. ridiculous.

I almost grabbed it as it is a killer deal and I could have gotten 490 for mine. BUT - the new terrovas will have the improved more accurate spot lock, which will match the Xi5 anchor mode for accuracy. 5' radius vs 15'.

What pound thrust????

Open water bass suggestions (lure, techniques etc)

The end near Lindsay is very weedy and I think that's where he is fishing mostly. -
I find the maps to vary in accuracy sometimes by a small amount and others ridiculously so. I often mark or plot out a fav point or edge or hump myself. Then I know it's fairly accurate - within ten feet anyways depending on gps accuracy at the time

On super clear water where I can see bottom then an L turn is what I would do but I have been surprised in super clear deep water where a fish was obviously following really deep a few times. St Clair fish seem less boat shy than Kawarthas fish.

Captpierre, I see what u r saying and I used to think that way when I started musky fishing maniacally 10 years ago. But, I can tell u that it is better and more productive than the extra 10-20% in casts u could get - especially on certain lakes like St Clair. Last year, 80% of my fish on that lake came on figure eights. That is much higher than typical but that's no exaggeration. And I fish a fair bit last year so that was a good number sample to work from. This year - I have hardly been fishing:(

Spinning feels do not handle big heavy baits well and a baitcaster can be thumbed as the bait lands to ensure instant retrieval or blades spinning and u can also hit free-spool and thumb the spool if u hook up on the figure eight.

There's a guy on here named Josh who was looking for one a while back. Maybe send him a PM.

I wouldn't waste my time. Too early.
