  1. I will be there
  2. I use 30lb spiderwire stealth or power pro to the dipsey and a 6 foot lenght of 25lb flourocarbon to the lure or worm harness of choice
  3. Great report Rich, I was out there today also. Only I mainly concentrated on the smallmouth my biggest weighed in at 3.37 pounds just out of the top 10 by about a 1/2 pound. You are right about the wind comming up man was that tough to fish in.
  4. Unfortunatly there has not been much interest and Roger (bpsbassman) is up at lake weslemkoon this weekend, I might have to cancel the event if i do not get atleast 3 boats committed to fish.
  5. Just an open invite to anyone that wishes to come out and fish with us this Sunday and get involved in the Canadian Toonie Tournament Series. Great fun with a great bunch of guys. Please see the message board and the rules located on the website (www.ctts.ca) Any questions feel free to ask. Ken(Moosehead)York

  7. Dan we are holding a toonie tournament in the lower grand for pickeral on Sunday, launching from the Port Maitland ramp 6am you are welcome to join us. www.ctts.ca
  8. Will see you there Roger, looking forward to another great season. Nobody else interested from here? Open to anyone that wishes to attend!
  9. Roger I would pick up another 9'6"MH and use the 2 of them as dipsey rods, put the tekota on one and the accudepth on the other definetelty need braid or wire for these with linecounters. Put the gold cups on the other 2 rods and use one on the rigger and the other can be used for flatlining, might want to spool this one up with leadcore. I will be running 2 9'6" MH TDR's with braid as dipsey rods and 2 8' M TDR's with mono on the riggers. Have you been out yet? I am going to try and get out next weekend, have heard good reports coming from the Jordan/ Port Weller area.

  12. Young Jason Vorhees was drowned in Crystal Lake way back in 1957. A subsequent fire and spate of murders resulted in the camp being shut down. Years later Steve Christy decides to reopen Camp Crystal Lake and hires a new group of councillors to have the place ready for the summer. Ignoring warnings from the local lunatic, they go ahead with the reopening regardless. Things seem to be going as planned until the killings begin again ~ camp was shut down in 1957 so 20 years later would be 1977???

  17. moosehead for me also
  18. I would say it is a fox judging by the size of it tail and the way it was walking, coyotes have a much less bushy tail and walk similar to a dog.
  19. You are going to like that boat, I have the 1660 classic and love it. Mine performs well with a 60hp 4 stroke.
  20. Moosehead for me
  21. I think I would prefer a guide so I don't have to teach my wife how to fly fish... The guide can have that headache. If you are purchasing a non residents license to fish salmon on the Miramichi a guide is mandatory, look up the New Brunswick salmon federation in Doaktown.
  22. Sounds like a good day on the water. What launch did you use?
  23. I have relatives down there also. As for the fishing on the miramichi, it depends alot on how many nets the natives have accros the river. Got our names drawn last year to go fish the crown reserve waters, never even seen a fish. On our way out we counted 12 nets the natives had accros the mouth of of that section of river, pretty hard for the salmon to get past that.
  24. Nice work guys, entertaining as always. Did you get a look at the final leader board? interested in what the top fish weighed in at.
