I was out there this evening as well and iced 2 walleye 16" @ 19" lost 1 at the hole on my jigging rod and was stripped of my minnow on my set line several times, need to add a stinger hook i think. There was a guy beside me that landed 4 between 5:30 @ 6:00pm and his buddy 5 feet away did not get a bite. I also caught several small perch and a nice crappie that had to be released.

I am planning on going friday afternoon and evening should be good with the full moon. But i could leave earlier to hook up with you for the morning bite also. I got 3 last weekend along with several out of season crappies thay were released. Where were you planning on getting on the ice? and what time would you be getting there?

Okay who has been having good luck icing some walleye on scugog and wants to help me out as i am planning on heading there this weekend all help would be appreciated such as parking, fishing locations and ice conditions. I would also be interested in hooking up with anyone that is also going to be there this weekend. Thanks

There is a ramp behind the arena in Dunnville with a permanent dock that stays in all year (east side of the dam) or you could check out the launch across the river at the Grand Island BBQ. What are you heading out for walleye?

What no Scugog tourney? I did well there last year. Would be nice to have another spring walleye tourney on the lower grand river also. I would attend a tourney on simcoe, looking forward to next season roger
