  1. It’s three hours to get there or I’d go by myself. my son wants to go but he’s busy at work.
  2. Doesn’t anyone on here fish Lake Erie? 6 walleye limit any size for sport fishing lic. where can you get that.
  3. What a ripoff. Thanks for the info.
  4. I see it’s $10 to launch. Then it looks like it’s $50 to park there. anyone know for sure.
  5. I’m going to get one too. I need the cooling more than the heating.
  6. Muskie fishing everywhere has slowed down.
  7. Only problem is it’s a 4.5hr drive one way from Barrie. if anyone can go they should. 1mile out and start fishing. So pick your day and you can go in a car topper.
  8. Fireworks in building go boom.
  9. Went to st Clair for musky. Had a hit and straight drag. Sun was bright so the Bimini was up. Buddy grabbed The rod and hit the Bimini not reeling fast enough and slack line fish gone. Got a small pike and a channel cat on Muskie lures. Not enough action pulled to plug. went to Erie for pickerel and limited out in 3hrs.
  10. Anyone like the big Jon Free'N Easy down riggerRelease. I have one that I’ve never used. I’ve been using the Scotty snapper ones. Probably not needed for salmon but might be good for smaller lakers.
  11. Ontario fish for free week Ontario residents without a licence can once again fish for free during the return of Family Fishing Week from June 28 to July 6, 2025.

  12. I run my ff off the main batt. No problems. I have heavy gage wire to a fuse panel under the dash then humming bird wire from there. the issue is the person who did the install. Wired wrong.
  13. Thanks. it’s will make the gear easy to move as I plan on having two boats. I fab some stuff. I’m doing the bases for the tube rod holders and downeasters.
  14. Finally got the tracks installed. I bought a 3’ one and cut it in half. It has enough room for a Downrigger and a double rod holder on each side. when I go for Muskie I can have a down Easter and a double rod holder on each side.
  15. Yes set up time is also a concern. Last years set up took three hours. Two dining tents and a sleeping tent.
  16. Nice healthy looking fish. Wtg.
  17. Cooshade looks nice. I don’t think I’ll get a quick pop up one because they are pretty heavy. I have one now that’s just a roof. It’s good for sun but the rain comes in the sides. a new one has to have side flaps too. need comfy as my wife still goes and we tent it.
  18. I’ve never used one. I guess it would be good if you had a tons of rocks and logs. probably hurts performance because of more drag.
  19. I’ll try this one if I can’t find anything else. https://a.co/d/2Y3KKes
  20. I have tried a few dining tents and I have to bend down to enter the door. anyone know of one with side flaps and tall entrance. this world famous one I have now is good except for the low entrance. https://www.fcsurplus.ca/shopping/products/15676-world-famous-lodge-screen-gazebos/
  21. I wonder if you can get that boat near the stripers.
  22. Game 7 coming up Sunday night. leafs played great in game 6. Mathew’s with a goal and he shoots five hole which is very interesting as the leafs scored many goals just above the pads at the start of the series. I think he saw the goalie was leaving five hole open to take away the above pad opening. go leafs go.
  23. That’s looks better on a woman.
  24. For your boat Id like at least a 3500lb towing capacity. hills and launches. High winds. People and gear. Will blow the engine or trans out of smaller vehicles.
  25. You wouldn’t believe the fish these guys catch. great picture
