  6. Winter=Snowmachine, Spring, Summer, Fall=ATV......in my neck of the woods anyways!
  7. Problem with the mountain sleds, is that they don't have a two-up seat, which is a problem for me, as I usually have someone with me..
  8. Yah, it's either you love Cats or hate 'em eh??.......Had a 2004 400 Cat 4-wheeler, absolute piece of junk! On the other hand, presently own a 1995 550 Prowler, with 6500 miles on it, runs great, good trailbreaker, best machine I ever owned hands down!
  9. I work, hence I pay taxes, alot in fact. My country (Canada), sends relief to many if not all countries stricken by natural disasters, and this is a good thing, and is one of the many reasons evryone loves Canada and it's citizens...and this makes me proud to be CANADIAN!
  10. 550 Skandic SWT!...........Reliability of a two-stroke, fan-cooled motor, has a pull cord ( which the Vk Professinal does not, to my knowledge)...just all-around the best machine out there for off-trail applications..
  11. Hi to all, just wondering if anyone on the the board has ever fished this lake before......I took a quick canoe tour thru there one time, and never really had much time to fish it, looked good tho with lots of shoals, islands, bays and points?
  12. I seem kind of partial to the the old beaver-tail style of snowshoe, some how I don't think I'd get the flotation with the newer style ones as I would with the old timers.....hard to come by nowadays, $138 for a pair at a local outfitter!
  13. Shhhhhh!
  14. My experience with Shimano service after waranty has been the same......A+!.............Shimano all the way, when it comes to purchasing new reels for me, there' s not too much thinking involved, even found their lower end stuff, well less expensive anyways, seems to perform well!
  15. Went out yesterday, up 67 road, about 8" of solid ice!
  16. My Cabelas fish Eagle is about the best "Quality" combo I've ever come across......rod could be a touch longer tho, as it's only 28"..
  17. That's what my Bro needs, cuz he's broken alot of them in his time!(Ugly Stick)
  18. What ever happened to the old cow-hide ones that were varnished??.....I was looking at those newer ones, but didn't think they could hold up a bigger guy on 2-3ft of snow????

    Ice Line

I do use super-lines for jigging..........The Bekeley one i find is the best for not icing up, because, techically, it's not a "braid"..

  22. Nice to see you's were rewarded for your efforts Anders.........Good friends + Good fish=Good Times!
