  1. You won't beat those X-Raps or Husky Jerks!!
  2. That's mostly all I target during the winter months..............and believe it or not, my biggest fish are caught at depths not exceeding 30ft.! Look for points, or as you mentioned before, rockfaces. I have found big Lakers to be especially fond of white tube-jigs tipped with a 2" dace minnow..............for deadsticking I've been using the Bay de Noc Do-Jigger as a flasher with the treble removed, snell hook then attached with a nice big lively dace minnow! Hope this helps!
  3. They are 3.5" long, the usual size I use for lakers, sometimes I'll bump it up to 4". I'd like to try them during the day as well, probably pretty dark down there even during the day.
  4. Well, I guess that makes two of us! Yeah, seem to do well for lakers with the white ones, thought that glow should even be better. I'll bet the person whoever invented these never intended them to be a Laker bait!
  5. Hi to all, picked up a few of those glow-in-the-dark tubes, haven't tried them out yet, just wondering if anyone else has?
  6. Nice fish guys!.............What do you guys use down your way for Lakers?
  7. Hi to all, noticed that when I went to post pictures, It said that they were too big..............how can I resize them?
  8. Just wondering how these would work for Lakers or Specks? I thought they'd have about the same action as the old faithful Swedish Pimple, but have the advantage of a rattle chamber! Anyone with any past experiences or opinions? Drop a Line!
  9. Caught my biggest iced Laker on a 3.5" white tube-jig!
  10. Hey there, headin' out for some Lakers? Well if i'm goin' to fish the deep waters, I'll run an Abu Koster or even a 1oz. Swedish Pimple tipped with salted cut-bait...........start at the bottom, jig there for about 10min., if nothing, reel up another 15ft. or so, do this all the way to 10ft. under the ice! Or, if you got the cash,(I don't)get yourself a portable fish finder, so you can see where the fish are in that water column!
