What a GREAT time we had today! 10guys and gals on the ice! and who stole the show?!?!?!? STEPHANIE... yet again... and this time i wasent the only one JELOUSE! we left at 6:30 am and on the way to 31 miles lake with the new snow on the pavement stephanie lost control and we ended up in the ditch! good thing no other cars were comming because we crossed lanes . we were lucky because only the back of the car went in the ditch ryan and i were able to lift and push the hyundai out of there! FIEW! get the the number one shoal @ 8:30 punch the holes and paul brakes the ice with his first white fish EVER! yep took him 2 years to get one! :shock: Congrats bird freak you deserve it! i tie on the new spoon i just bought yesterday. and i get into some action also! punch a hole in 30-35 FOW... stir the bottom up and BOOM! sweet whitie! this one is hooked deep in the eye... i mean trebbled gore eye socket style. so i keep this one for super! then i go to the MENS corner leave my rod on the ground... come back.. what do i see.... steph.... in my seat... with my rod.... in my hole...... im thinking .. ya know what she can have that hole i just pulled out the only whity in there anyways... :roll: :roll: bad decision! :x 2-3 jiggles.. FISH ON! release the beast. she puts the same lure in the same hole.... BANG. got em again! well steph got all of us jelouse cause she got the frenzy on and it shut off to nothing after... she pulles out 4 white fish back to back.... one got unhooked at the hole and paul missed grabbing it. youl see the video once its done! its hilariouse. we switch spots came back and the only thing that was bitting was on pauls line and they were OOS LA GRISE. so we packed and called it a day! 6 white fish were caught thats day. note to self. if steph shows up to fish.... leave the erea she WILL catch them all and leave nothing for the rest... shes just too damn GOOD!

you have a good eye! that lake is godly for smallies and pike... all over size for some weird reason... must be the NO pressure issue it has! thanks for the great replies guys. and for the valentin's thigny. we dont celebrate such stupidity!

some say that the lake we fish for white fish isint frozen yet... i dont know whats going on! the rain we had here in quebec damadge alot of the lakes. unsafe ice is nothing to laugh about or risk a life.

Me and steph decided to hit our favourite lake today! paradice arival. 7:00 am get the holes done and by 7:20am the lines are set. a line get pulled and the tip up goes down. slowly. BASS! 8) as im setting up the minnow. steph runs and this one is a heavy pull. a sweet 3 minutes fight of pure BRUTE! as the pike is ready to go thru the hole.... 4...5..6 gator spins and we lose him...... a seriouse 10 + i kick the tip-up the cheap plastic real brakes and back to fishing ! :shock: :? Traumatized steph start jigging with a minnow. BANG! hard hit. she sets the hook like a b1 master and reels the pig in. no weight but. HOLY FLOCK of birds. bass action was on all day. here one of my cheap windlass. Then one of many on the side winder spoon. Still with a minnow tipped on a jig head steph is pulling bass out like a bass master classic 1995! she would let the minnow drop to the bottom and at the seocnd or even the first lift BOOM BABY BANG! 8) The bass had ambushed the pike bay cause with that early bite none other were to be seen. but the bass were big and hungry. You know you have a big bass when you can hold him by the tail and release him like a musky! :shock: SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WEAT patern on this pig! trying to count how many black spots there were on this one..... blacked out after 65. Then to punish steph for missing the ONLY pike of the day ....i got her to pull the sled up to the car. PULL. * SLASH* PULL * WIP* that will teach her to miss a fish!

justed came back from fishing and work. got a couple of houres this mornning and missed a good size pike. then did the plumbing in my frineds cottage. when i was done the whole thing . fished again for 1 houres landed a hammer handle 2 lbs pike. i think i have frost bite on the tip of my fingers tho!
