Is that one of them ski boats they use to chase them little green fish?
-
Just spend the $6 plus cost of the guide at Angling Specialties or Kingsway in Guelph or other local builder.
-
You forgot to mention mentally retarded guides ganging up on and beating the crap out of 62 year old fishermen.
I only ever fished the Salmon in the middle of winter as I didn't want to deal with all the crap that happens down there.
Nice feeeeesh though!!!!

sadly no update today, I understand the engine goes on Monday and it is on schedule to ship Thursdday, I made an arrangement to take del on MAy 7
Where you gonna put the downriggers?

Try trolling a small black leach (fly) either on a fly setup or spinning with some split shot.
There is a really good spot and stalk fishery for carp on the fly in I believe either Erie or Michigan, so if you cna cast to them Ièm sure they would take a slow trolled leach.

Thanks Drifter.I like the idea of a removable floor. How do they work when the water gets in there from a night rain?Does it get trapped?I would imagine the ribs would carry the water to the back where I have installed a small builge pump..This is an exellent thread..Want to give thanks to the OP for it.Its better to have it all in one thread..Id like to see some more pice of peoples aluminum boat setups.Thats if thier willing to share? I have all the gear and a butt nakid boat sittin on the dock at the Trent as we speak.
Yes, the water will still run back the same way as without the floor being in there.

What do you do when you politely tell someone what they are doing is wrong and they tell you to screw your hat? How long does it take before things escalate?
Pretty simple answer here. When it has happened that I was told to mind my own business I just say fine and dial the cell phone, then I let the athorities take care of the problem for me.
Works every time.
I remember one fall fishing the mouth of the Ganny and a fellow caught a laker and was keeping it.
I told him they were out of seaon and he ignored me, called the local cops and they took care of the problem within ten minutes.

Ok im going to chime in here in an effort on not starting another thread. The rocker gaurd would go outside I imagine. But back the wood floor..How do we do this cause im doing the same to a 14.5 springbok. Pickedup a minn kota powerdrive v2 and a humminbird 550 fish finder.I want to carpet and put a wood floor in the boat.Any ideas on how to do the floor? The lower the better as this is a shallow boat to begin with..Keep in ming we have to go light too. Thanks
Cut 3 or 4 strips of wood to bring the floor level above the ribs (they will run from stern to seat, seat to seat and seat to bow) the outer two being thinner than the ones closer to the centerline of the boat. When you have the strips cut to the right thickness for the section of the boat you are doing cut out a plywood floor section to go on top of the wood strips. attach the plywood to the strips with galvanized screws (make sure you don't go through the strips). You now have a removable raised floor.
Simple.

Bunkster, didn't you know Mother Nature was evil and nasty!
At least the fire didn't happen when you were sleeping.
You managed a couple of fish too, so all was not lost.
But no pictures of the carnage?

Genetically modified fish such as hot water treated triploid's ( causes them to not develop reproductive organs boosting over all growth ) and fish from limited access waters have been accepted as new world records the last few years.
I myself am COMPLETly against this as I see it as not being ethical and not good for the sport in general.
I see it takes away from the rare catchs by " Joe Public" that are truly one in century catches.
Dont get me wrong it still takes a angler to trick and catch these fish but when you take away outside forces ( I.E. Fishing Presssure ) and add unnatural fish to an ecosystem it really lessons the whole uniquness of the catch.
I agree 100% that genetically modified fish should not be included in the record books. Not to take anything away from the Saskatoon brothers that have caught those big triploid bows out of Lake Diefenbaker but in my opinion they don't belong in the record books. The same thing goes for that giant farm escapee that was caught by Manitoulin island.
While they are nice fish I don't think they are record fish.
In my books the all tackle world record rainbow still comes from South West Alaska.

Mine have been good also. I did break a temple hinge several years ago in Alaska but luckily it was covered under warranty.

Buy the photo chromic glass lens ones as the darken when it gets briter and are more scratch resistant than the polycarbonite lenses.
For $79 you can't go wrong.
I just bought a pair yesterday.
I see they are now sold out of the ones I purchased, so if you're interested I wouldn't wait.

I guess my 11 is 11/50.That sucks,LOL.We'll see next week.Ill keep you guys posted.
BTW dont slam on this question.
No shots allowed over 7 1/2 shot.I had some 6 and 4 shots with me.There bigger than 7 1/2 right?I brought what I had yesterday, a mixed bag of shots.
Your 11 is out of 25.
A round of trap is 5 shots at each of 5 stations.
A round of doubles is 10 shots (2 at a time) at 5 stations.
Yes 6's and 4's are bigger.
The higher the # the smaller the shot.

I had an invite on a team for pigeon shooting today.I took the offer and man I loved it.Just so you know I havent shot it off in 10 plus years.I goofed a couple of times at the club and started to get the hang of it, roll call and swichting around. And I forgot glasses and ear plugs as well.Oh well, everything went fine.My first round sucked, and really improved on my second.Tempted to do a third on my own but I had a brewski in the club house. So next week I hope to do better than a 11, what ever that means for over all score. The best was 17 in our group.
To sum it up, it sure nice to fire of a gun that I was taught with and always keep.
I just hope Im not sore in the shoulder in the AM,LOL!
BTW, Im looking for a marinade for clay pigeons,LOL, they look a little dry to me,LOL.
I spent many a Saturday and Sunday shootin' clay.
Weather it was skeet, trap or sporting clays I loved 'em all.
I shot competitive trap for years but sporting clays were my favorite.
I miss that shooting since I moved up here as there is none to be found.

Definitely a cache/cookie issue. I think your session is expiring before it is supposed to. Find a geek up there to peek in and see. You are on dial up by the looks of it ( IP addy changes alot). If not and you are using a router, configure it for static IP addy. Thats an old trick but it still works.
Rick, all is ok since flushing the cache.
I am a geek up here.
I'm an IT Manager for the guberment.
My guess is when you switced over the cookie got corupted when the new cookie tried to over write the old.

OK Rick, I did absolutely nothing, nada, zip, bupkiss and the site works fine now. No more triple clicking to get back and no more expired web page warnings.
At least for a few minutes!!! Still getting the web page warnings.

Should be around that for labour (between $5-$10).
Plus the cost of the guide.
