  1. I have an Olympus Stylus 300 that I purchased in 2003. I was so impressed with it I have just replaced it with a Stylus 1050SW.

Back in 2003 the Olympus stylus was the first digicam that claimed to be water resistant (not waterproof). Well on a couple of occasions it was tested for it's water resistant capabilities, once sliding down a class I whitewater chute and once when I flipped my one man cat. Solopaddler was there for that one. After he helped me and my stuff to shore, I took the camera out of my pocket and took a picture. It worked perfectly. I figure if a camera that was not billed as waterproof worked that well, one that is billed as waterproof should be awesome!!

I picked it up from Olympus direct through their ebay store for $112. The best thing, shipping is only $4.95!!! :thumbsup_anim::thumbsup_anim:

  2. Canada - USA gold medal match.

Now all we need is the guys from the movie "celtic pride" to take care of Miller.

Not needed, I have paid off key personal to spike his water bottle with laxitives during the game.

He'll be on the crapper by the end of the third shift!!!!!

  3. I have a New Blackberry Bold for work and my own personal Iphone.

Iphone can do everything the BB can but better:)

Really?? How does it do at recieving email from a Blackberry business server??

The iphone can't do what a Blackberry can in the business world. They are pretty cool personal phones though. ;)

  4. I have the Cabelas Auger Hauler and it does a great job at protecting the auger.

When I'm on foot I put it in a longer sled (actually a kids sled) that I have added a rope and plastic conduit harness to haul it with.

If you google Ski Pulk you will get an idea of what it looks like.

The plastic conduit keeps the sled from running me over when going down hill.

This is the sled I used.

    Sled

I drilled 5/16" holes about a foot apart around the perimeter and ran 1/4" poly rope in and out of those holes to give me lashing points. I put the auger in with the powerhead at the back, otherwise it plows snow (didn't take long to figure that out).

To keep the auger from moving around I use bungee cords from one side to the other (that's what the 1/4" rope is for).

  5. Sounds like it may be the coils. I had this problem with my old Johnson kicker. I would describe it as surging but jumping might describe it as well.

That's what I'm thinking too. Had the same issue with my first outboard a 1963 Johnson 5 1/2.

  6. I have never had issues buying from China on ebay.

In fact I seem to get faster delivery than the States!!!

Yesterday I ordered a spare battery and charger for my new digicam for $12 delivered.

We'll see how long it takes this order to get here.

I'll probably see it next week. :D

  7. He doesn't do this in the NHL. Why did he do it last night? He missed the puck, and the US scored into an empty net. Why did he skate out 20 feet and take a baseball swing at a puck in the air, which resulted in a goal 2 seconds later?

He was obviously bribed by the US of A to throw the game!!!!
