Yes it is spendy there but nice. The input I have had is mainly from people here @ work. There are quite a few that have been there for work or play and have enjoyed it. Can't say about the fishing but you're on the island so there are plenty of opportunities from the beach to bass lakes. If you want something less $$$ you will need to get away from the city.

Mike You might want to let her know that not all trophy hunting is bad. For instance in Africa the tag fees are used for conservation and enforcement and without the "trophy hunters" it is very likely that rhino and elephants would disappear in short order. When a trophy hunter goes to Africa to hunt elephant just the cost of the tags are in the range of $25,000. Now those high fence hunts they do a lot of in the US. Yeah, those suck.

I used a 1/2" thick piece of UHMW on my boat. Picked up an off cut at a plastic place fer cheap. Way better than spending the $$$$ they want for the ones made expressly for the job.
